The RIM TM/SM course gives the student practical application for individual and mass casualty situations as observed in the following:
This Trauma Intervention course builds on TM/SM with added depth of information and scenarios.
This course covers the deployment and usage of tourniquets, hemostatic agents, airway devices, trauma assessment, drags/ carries, communication, and situational awareness.
This course delivers limited Reality Based Training (RBT) and gives the student "hands on experience" in a controlled environment, encouraging learning from mistakes and answering questions that come from their experiences.
2-Day Scenario Based Experiences.
In addition to the techniques taught in the Advanced TM/SM program, this course delivers additional Reality Based Training (RBT) scenarios and repetitions. "Real world" stress scenarios utilizing live actors to provide students a hands on experience.
